COMPALL Meeting in Hamburg03.07.2018
On the 19th and 20th of June 2018, the seventh COMPALL Transnational Meeting was held at Helmut-Schmidt University, Germany. As this was the last of the COMPALL meetings, the ten participants reflected on the development of the project throughout the last years. The outcomes estimated as most rewarding are the ongoing internationalization of the project, the academic network that has built itself around it, as well as its widespread recognition among students and employers alike. Furthermore, the improvement of content preparation by way of high quality online tutorials has proven to be very fruitful. The past years have been a steady and active learning process; subsequently a couple of essential changes were made in respect to organisation and realisation of future installments.
The COMPALL partners used the possibility to visit the UNESCO Institute of Lifelong Learning in Hamburg, and to disseminate the COMPALL joint module in the UNESCO context. During the visit, several collaboration and networking possibilities were planned. We are looking forward to the cooperation with UIL during the next Winter Schools.
Apart from these and other discussions, the consortium explored the university campus and took a harbour tour by boat, which supported the informal discussion and collaboration.
The meeting was a positive reflection of the successful work and accomplishments of the last three years and bore a lot of new ideas for its extension and sustainability.
