Application Requirements
The entry requirements for the Diversity, Ethics and Religions degree programme are as follows:
- A qualification for university entry: Various qualifications entitle holders to admission to the programme. Please note whether the qualification was obtained in Germany or abroad.
Applicants with a German university entrance qualification can apply directly via
Wuestudy .
Applicants with a foreign or international qualification for university admission must first have
their qualification assessed by uni-assist to determine whether it is equivalent to a German
qualification for university admission. This process can take up to 6 weeks and should be
completed by the application deadline. The assessment by uni
assist must be submitted along with the other application documents.
- English language proficiency: As the language of instruction is English, applicants are expected to have and demonstrate sufficient English language skills. This can be shown, for example, by a certificate from a recognised language school. Level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is required. If you are unsure whether your documents are suitable for the application, please contact our programme advisor.
Knowledge of German is not required at the start of the programme! However,
students are expected to demonstrate German language proficiency at level A2 of the
Common European Framework of Reference for Languages by the time they complete their
studies. Appropriate language courses are offered at the University of Würzburg and can be
attended by students.
